Camping At East Marsh Lake Uintas Utah

I finally got around to creating a video from a very quick trip that we made to East Marsh Lake in the Uintas on the Utah side. It felt so good to be back in nature, walking trails and taking lots of photos, and most of all, time with family

ECHO PARK BUNDLE OF JOY WELCOME LITTLE ONE SCRAPBOOK ALBUM

This handmade new baby girl scrapbook album is 8.5 x 11 inches and was made with Echo Park papers, stickers, enamel dots, and embellishments from their Bundle of Joy collection.
The front and back covers and the spine of the book were made with chipboard, and the spine was hand-sewn.
It has 25 pages and approximately 85 spaces for photos. There are spaces throughout to add journaling or more photos. I added magnets on some of the pages to help keep the waterfall pages and envelope pockets closed
My video of the entire album is at the end of this page

THANKSGIVING ACCORDION ALBUM

We made a YouTube video of our Thanksgiving accordion album available in our Etsy Store

FRANKIE AND FRIENDS HALLOWEEN PAPER BAG ALBUM

I love how this Halloween Theme Paper Bag Album turned out! It was a lot of fun to make and it turned out a lot more chunky than I had originally planned on. I used Bazzill Basics cardstock along with the Simple Stories 'Frankie and Friends' 12x12 paper pack. The eyelets, hinges, charms, ribbons, etc. were from my stash of scrapbook supplies :)
At the bottom of this page is a video I created to show how everything opens with the book. If it doesn't work from this page, you can find it here

BBQ SUMMERTIME PICNIC PAPER BAG ALBUM

We made this adorable summertime fun paper bag album with papers we have had in our stash, made by Close To My Heart. The bright, cheerful colors are such a great reminder of all of the fun memories of summertime; picnics, family get-togethers, and celebrations. There are plenty of spaces for you to add your own photos and journaling on the 10 pages and 3 side-pull-out-tags of this 6x6 mini album

Here's a video that shows you all of the things you can do with this cute picnic paper bag book:

FISHING WHITNEY RESERVOIR - June 2018

I love summer!! I love being in nature and especially with my family!! We caught a cutthroat, a few rainbow trout, and a few 'planter' tiger trout. We do catch-and-release so that we can fish longer, and, so that the fish will hopefully have a chance to grow bigger and give someone else a chance for catching fish. We brought our portable grill and cooked hamburgers and enjoyed a day together.

We took more pictures for our handmade cards and our kitchen magnets :-)

VISIT SAN DIEGO AND PINNERS CONFERENCE

I was able to take two of my kids with me to San Diego while I attended the Pinners Conference at the Del Mar fairgrounds. We had a wonderful time, enjoyed the amazing weather, walked around the Bay and Little Italy. We always enjoy our stays with Hampton Inn, and we especially loved it at the Hampton Inn Downtown San Diego.
The hotel shuttle driver, James, recommended that we go see the many stores and places to eat at the Gaslamp Quarter, and we had a really great time.
We learned about the Free Ride service which is available for anyone for free, to help cut back on so many cars on the roads. We downloaded the app and it works just like Uber and Lyft. We used Lyft to take us to the Pinners Conference, which was about 30 minutes away from our hotel, and we had a fantastic driver, Joshua, who took us to the San Diego LDS temple which was about 9 miles away from our hotel.
The San Diego temple has been on my bucket list for a long time. Ever since I saw my first photo of the temple I have wanted to go and visit it in person. I loved my time there! It was so magnificent and beautiful. I was overwhelmed with emotion as I sat and closed my eyes and just felt the breeze blowing and watched my kids as they sat peacefully waiting for me to take it all in. It was a beautiful place to do a photo shoot with my beautiful daughter (I will be posting some of those pictures on our other youtube channel: simplemom photography
We also used Lyft to take us to Sea World where we thought that arriving around 10:30 in the morning would give us plenty of time to see and do what we wanted to do, but by closing time we realized that we missed a lot and we hope to be able to return again someday and enjoy the amazing animals from the water kingdom.
